Welcome to the members' pages for Wycliffe Associates UK! This section of the site is only for our members, providing an opportunity for them to keep in touch with what's happening in the association generally, to download administrative forms and to have access to training materials and other resources. In order to have access to the various areas in this part of the site, you will first need to create an account on the site by registering. (Click on "Read more..." below for further guidelines.) If you have forgotten your username or password (or both!) please click here for further help. Once you have completed a registration form, and your membership details have been checked, the system will attempt to confirm your email address and then, all being well, your registration will be confirmed. For all subsequent visits to the site you can then log in and obtain access to the various items available to the WA "online community". If you need to register, please click on the word "Register" at the bottom of the section on the left, headed "Log In Here", and you will see a form to complete. The form will ask you to enter a name, a "username", a valid email address and a password. The first field should be your full name but the "username" is what you will use when you log in and must be unique. If you happen to know your WA membership number, you can use that as your "username". (This will also make it easier for the administrator to confirm that you are entitled to be given access to this section of the site.) Alternatively, please choose some appropriate name but remember that each username must be unique. Consequently, if a name like "Paul" is already in use, you may need to try "Paul1" or something similar. You may use spaces but we suggest that you keep your username short and easy to remember! You will be asked to enter a valid email address on the registration form. This is for use by the website system and will not be visible to other members. However, if you wish for your email address to be available to other members, please copy it and paste it into the appropriate field further down on the registration form. The first five fields on the registration form are necessary for these members' pages to function properly. Your full name will be available to other WA members and will be used on the "Members' Forum" that is open to non-WA members who use this site but not to the general public. The remaining fields on the registration form may be left blank but, if you choose to complete them, will only be available to other WA members. When you submit the registration form, the site will forward it to the website administrator who will review your application. Having confirmed that you are a WA member, the administrator will then send you an email confirming your "log-on" details. Various people (such as coordinators) may be invited to take responsibility for certain sections of the members' pages and will be assigned a rĂ´le of "author", "editor" or "publisher" to enable them to submit their own items to the site. If you think that this would be helpful as part of your work for WA, please contact the website administrator for further details. |
